additional lock fitted or changed

Rim Cylinder locks are most commonly utilised on main access doors and are what is traditionally recognised as the ‘Yale’ lock. The security advantage of this key is that the lock comes inclusive of a latch with added snib functionality. This means that the door can be secured from the inside, stopping access from being gained from the outside.

The Rim Cylinder lock has the added functionality of securely locking shut when closed, without the need of a key.
